Here’s our very own performance from Saturday! It was the debut of two of our newest pieces choreographed by Robert Olarte, Jordan Riturban and Chris Salango! Thanks again to Kilusan Pilipino (UOP) for having us!
I seriously gotta learn Chris’ piece. Ahah, I was all over that piece when he showed a couple of us @The Well. Spring semester’s gonna be exciting! Both for dance aaand my classes! I CAN FEELZ ET.
Being one of the six main cities in the wild wild west that actively plays kendama, the Sacramento stop proves to have become a hard-hitter for any kendama enthusiast. With an ever-growing community that has seen one full year of progression already, players from all around the area came to join what has shaped up to be one of the biggest events of the summer.
Aside from buying gear at the awesome Kengarden pop-up shop, getting autographs from the pros, and even winning prizes throughout the whole event, SacKendama became the tour’s first home away from home stop, as it later visited Tahoe, Bend, Portland, and hosted an epic battle in Seattle.
Eager for more action after this kick-starting event, the summer of 2012 begins forming to be the uprising in SacKendama’s event history. So stay tuned for more kickass local events, SacKendama players. ;D
Sacramento’s finest newcomers to the world of Kendama collaborate on this edit to kick-start 2012!
